- Do you strategize or think about in detail next time you can drink?I know for me even when I wasn't drinking daily I was always working towards and anticipating that next time I could drink, particularly next time I could drink the amount I liked to while not having to feel guilty. When considering alcoholism signs and symptoms I think about this one of the clearest signs, yet one of the hardest to be honest to oneself about.
- Have you committed to modify how much, how often or what you drink?I can't say I have tried to quit gambling for a month. I have not attempted to quit smoking. Why? That's because I don't have a problem with these addictions. The thought of quitting or changing my relationship with something that never enters my thoughts in the 1st place would make no sense. If you've ever committed to changing how much, how frequently or what alcohol you drink this is clearly one of the alcoholism signs and symptoms.
