College is one area where a student needs organization tips most of all. This is due to the fact that this is where a student's skills and attitude are developed and may determine their future.

To those who are planning on college, the area most in need of organization is the spending money area. Since they would be away from their parents and would be forced to control their lives and their own resources, it is a must that they learn how to be organized as soon as...

Over the years, many of us have pondered, are there any real time management solutions? With so much research and case studies that have been performed the answer has now become a resounding, "Yes!".

However, the overwhelming majority of people have not found these solutions or have simply not bothered to apply them. Quite frankly, this is due to the fact that we now live in a society filled with distractions and interruptions that steal our attention and focus at all...

Time management is the essence of being successful, in whatever you do. It is the least-mastered and most-preferred skill to achieve ultimate success in today's fast-moving world.  Looking to double your time management skills – not a big deal, you will require following some easy steps to make most of your time.

Follow the Golden Rules to Double Your Time Management Skills:-

Identify the Time-Wasters:

Know what's killing of your time....

Vacation-chair.jpgWhy is it that we seem to get so much done the day before we leave for vacation?

There is something about the anticipation of free-time that feels like a reward for a job well done. When that is paired with the good feeling that comes from completion and the anxiety that results from leaving unfinished tasks hanging over your head, you have an unbeatable combination of incentives.

So, how exactly can we use this vacation wrap-up...

Do you really know yourself? Have you thoroughly identified, examined and analyzed your thought patterns, activity routines, preferences, abilities and comfort zones? Probably not. Most people never take the time to truly understand how and why they do what they do. Are they afraid of what they will find? Do they judge themselves too harshly? Find too many areas that fall short?

What if we look at it in another way? What if instead of judging,  berating and spending time and...

How To Have More ‘Me' Time

Me Time

We'd all like a little moretime for ourselves, right? Itrecharges our batteriesandrestores our sanity.

But if it seems we can barely fit in ourcurrentpriorities, then how on earth can we justify moreselftime?

"I don't regret the way I did life. I like the stories I am able to tell." - an eighty-three year old, terminally ill gentleman

The above quote is from a story I read last weekend in The Simple Life. The elderly man told the author stories about his life, from the Great Depression onward. And after all the stories about the struggles, joys, pains, and thrills, that was his proclaimation over it all.

When I'm 83 years old, I want to be satisfied with...

Well, if the title looks like an oxymoron, it depends totally on your viewpoint. You can either consider the power to procrastinate, or the power to overcome it. Truth is, its the very reason why some people sit on the back seat of the car, while others drive it for him.

I guess the habit of procrastination starts when we go to kindergarten, or rather don't want to until our parents kick us out o f bed... and follow that off with college, where we bunk the first period, and...

What does it mean to "reach higher"? The phrase suggests going beyond the ordinary or doing much better than mediocre. Excellence certainly fits too. Any discussion of reaching higher would be incomplete without at least one example. Several years ago, I was in charge of a team in a large military exercise. Over the three days or so, we ran through our paces both literally and figuratively as we worked to meet operational challenges in a simulated war-time environment. During...

Time can't be managed. It ticks inexorably forward, second by second. The phrase "time management" is really just a catch-all to describe how we get things done. The sum of all we get done is our productivity. Thus, we're talking about productivity, and, in this case, individual productivity.

Productivity- getting things done - is driven by how much focus we can apply to any one task. The greater the focus, the greater the productivity. Oh, and the net result of...
