All leaders know that capturing their day in the most productive way is the only way they will reach their goals. The are extremely focused, and have a strategy to their madness. We have had the privilege of learning from the best in the industry like, Gregg Davison, Andrew Cass, and Michael Force. All three of those guys have opening shared how they capture their day. Andrew Cass has recently shared some of his EXTREME tips, and to me they don't seem as extreme as they seem necessary....

Time management is simple - you have to decide what to do and then do it. The following tips will help you decide what to do, then use the techniques to actually get things done. Using tips and techniques together throughout the day is the best way to manage your time.

Deciding What to Do…

1. What Matters Most - You need to consider what your priorities are, for both short and long term goals. Invest the most time in the things that matter to you.

2. Your Role -...

Whether you’re the CEO of a multi-million dollar business, a manager of a large team, a supervisor or a hard working employee, chances are there’s someone in your working life who will try to load extra things onto you. These ‘extra tasks’ are often called the ‘monkey on our back’.

Even in your family or personal friendships you can probably think of people who are good at trying to throw monkeys onto your back!

Meet the monkey!

It would be lovely if we all lived in Wonderland and had nothing to do but attend mad tea parties and play croquet all day. However the reality of...

Trying to get things done around the house, but feeling overwhelmed by your never-ending list of things-to-do?

Here’s a simple system that works.

Make a Master Task List of everything you have to, or want, to do. Don’t worry about the order right now.  You’re basically brain-dumping on paper all your To-Do’s to get the thoughts out of your head and onto paper. This exercise creates a master laundry list of tasks.

Now, beside...

If you have a problem on recording your schedule, it is a must for you to read this article to lessen your recording task.

You can now track time accurately using the timesheets and time tracking software.

What we refer to as time tracking you may know by another name such as time recording, time clock systems, time cards, time
and attendance, timesheet or time sheet systems, or timekeeping or time keeping systems.

What is Time Tracking and

These days, it seems like it's becoming harder and harder to be a humanbeingrather than a humandoing.  "Action" is the buzzword of the day (every day).

In an article I read recently, the author was discussing the oft-asked question, "What are you willing to do to be successful?" The answer, she wrote, (as often expected from those of us serious about obtaining life success) was, "Whatever it takes." She challenged this...

When you were in school, you started fresh each year with new teachers, new books, new friends, a new grade, and new classes. You started out with a 4.0 grade point average and it was up to you make or break it.

As you got older and became a working woman, that back-to-school mentality stayed with you. Around August and September, when you see the school buses on the roads and children on the corners waiting for the bus, first you thank heaven that you don’t have to go to...

Effective time management is a necessity commonly needed by anybody expecting to successfully manage the typically busy lifestyles we live today. Coordinating business, social, and family activities can be a very stressful task. Without establishing some sort of time management system you are inviting tension and chaos into your life.

Although lifestyles may vary there is an overall need for just about everyone to develop some sort of time management skills.

If you do not have vacation time blocked off on the company schedule now for the end of the year, do not despair.  It seems everyone wants to have the holidays off, yet when we submit our annual vacation request, we may be turned down.  If you are glum over the prospect of limited holiday time off, console yourself with what you will actually be facing:

Reduced traffic
Quiet atmosphere
Limited interruptions
Greater concentration
Shortened...
