If you are a Dj, the nature of your job is to be around loud, blaring music that is fun to be around, but can have detrimental consequences if you don't take necessary precautions to protect yourself from damaging your hearing. Although you get to play the music that you love, by definition, your job entails getting people to dance so you have to play something loud, upbeat and lively. You can still enjoy all the music...

Tinnitus has no external sound and can be very annoying: it causes buzzing, ringing, whooshing, popping, crackling and booming. When the Eustachian tubes become clogged, these sounds can become amplified. Sinuses cause ringing ears when the ears are full of mucous or polyps.

It is more probable that when the ears fill with fluid and become plugged, you will experience sinus ringing ears. This can cause the sounds to be more of an echo. You are the only one that can hear these...

No I have not lost my mind and gone crazy. But as I research Tinnitus, and in particular, methods of treatment I get hooked on reading about some of the procedures used in the past to find tinnitus relief.

I find it really interesting that in many cases, with a few obvious exceptions, our current thoughts about natural remedies as a means of achieving lasting relief can be favourably compared to earlier times when chemical drugs were not even dreamed of.

It seems the...

Our ears are given to us to help us hear various sounds. There are different kinds of sounds and most of it has therapeutic effects in our body. It makes us feel relax and relieves tension and stress.

But sometimes it can also cause annoyance, irritation and frustration if the sounds that we hear are not the one that we are looking forward. Tinnitus is an abnormal condition by which we can perceive sounds without outside sources.

Sound ranges from pulsing, whooshing,...

The National Center for Health Statistics says that fifteen percent of Americans beneath the age of nineteen suffer some amount of hearing loss.

Yes, children are going deaf mostly from excessive noise.

And the noise is everywhere in today's environment. Playing loud music can damage a person's hearing. Like the 3 year old who turned the stereo on as loud as it would go…just for a few seconds…but his hearing was most likely damaged before their aunt...

Ringing in the ear is one of the symptoms of any underlying hearing diseases. Usually, it ranges from a very low pitch sound constantly changing to a high pitch that can cause ear pain and life distractions if not treated early. Tinnitus ear pain is very annoying. Sometimes it makes you feel frightened because you may think that it's already a sign of hearing impairment.

People suffering from this condition usually get alarmed and panic to find any cure. Sometimes it takes time to...

No two pregnancies are the same and the same goes for tinnitus. Everyone's experience is different. Tinnitus is a condition that can cause roaring, buzzing, whistling, whooshing and ringing ears. It seems that when you are pregnant everything is magnified and this includes the symptoms of tinnitus. The only person that can hear these annoying sounds is you; they are not audible from the outside. You can try to figure a way out to make the situation more comfortable. The discomforts of...
