We all have them. Emotional wounding from our childhood. An event, a person, something happened to create a cluster of pain and beliefs surrounding that pain. Years can go by, and as long as that wound is still festering, all it takes is a word, or a certain look on someone's face to trigger it. Then suddenly you are embroiled in a cloud of turbulence, lashing out at the poor person or thing that set you off, telling yourself a story of pain. A story that seems so true, that controls...

Do you ever feel like you're sabotaging yourself? You have a great goal, something that you're really passionate about, get off to a great start, then suddenly find yourself tripping over yourself. It's almost like something within you is sabotaging your best efforts.

Your subconscious mind contains all sorts of limiting beliefs that you picked up when you were very young. Most beliefs that sabotage us we learned when we were a very young child trying to make sense of the world...

The following is a script for a visualization meditation for releasing resentment and guilt.  Read through it several times until you get the basic idea.  You can adjust the mediation to address your specific needs but begin here.  Creative Intelligence will continue to guide you, and you may end up adjusting this for your specific needs.

  • Begin by getting into a comfortable and relaxed position.  It's not necessary to sit in any particular...

Knowing what to ask in an online psychic reading will help save you time and money. Being specific, rather than asking or expecting a psychic reader to know everything about you in less than one minute is important. While it can be entertaining and even self-validating to "test" the psychic in this way, all this really accomplishes is to find out what you already know. The goal in any online psychic reading should...

A consultant can be best defined as one who chooses not to be an employee; one who is willing to depend upon his or her own talents, abilities, and expertise for continued existence; one who is a risk taker - knowing that there is no weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay checks; one who may seem to be a little crazy and weird to his peers, but one is willing to try to make a difference in the world.

In that you work for yourself, you have to organize your own day. I have used...

Face it, we're all shy at times. It's when this starts to become a habit that the problem sets in - we start to go about our lives with the intent of avoiding people and places where our shyness will show. Try out some of these tips on overcoming shyness and social anxiety.

1. Build up your confidence levels

There's got to be something you're good at, better than most other people. Build on the confidence you have with this. And realize that if you can be confident in one...

What is life?? Any idea about what purpose we have in this world?? What are we meant to do?? What is our goal? Whom are we supposed to do it for?? Why were we created?? Many other questions of this kind might arise in your mind, compelling you to think what you are supposed to do or who you are supposed to be! We sometime forget to just enjoy life and commence ourselves into the hurdles of life. We sometimes forget that there are people around us who need us. But we are always so deep...

What kind of Legacy Are You Leaving?

The word Legacy means ~ something handed on from those who have come before!

I sit here and think of what kind of Legacy am I going to leave behind?  What will my family and friends say about how they appreciate me, what have I meant to them or how I inspired others? What kind of Legacy are you going to leave behind?  My mother just past away June 18th 2010 and I sit here and think about her Legacy.  Her legacy was of...

We all have dreams at times. Maybe you wanted to be an astronaut when you grew up or dreamed that you were going to rescue the world from cancer.

Sometimes those dreams are pure fantasy (but they're fun to indulge occasionally). And sometimes those dreams deserve to get more of our attention. So how can you start acting on your ideas so that you're not forever branded a dreamer by your friends and work colleagues?

One of the difficulties with turning dreams into reality is...

It's great to be dependable, the person everyone turns to when they need help. But there comes a stage where this turns from a nice thing to the stage where it's just an expectation. "Oh, they'll help, no problem". It's at that stage that you start to realize that you're being taken for granted.

So what can you do to turn this situation before you turn into a doormat that everyone uses but no-one really acknowledges?

Learn to say 'no' every now and then

Ouch...
