For me, my pet Doberman girl Sherry is my best teacher in the Art of Living.

Sherry is Doberman X – the "X" factor (father) is probably a Caravan Hound as her mother is a pure...

Stress is a feeling that's created when we react to particular events. It's the body's way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and heightened alertness.

The events that provoke stress are called stressors, and they cover a whole range of situations - everything from outright physical danger to making a class presentation or taking a semester's worth of your toughest subject.

Stress and the way we think

Here I will begin with something that happened many many years ago. It was when I attended my college in 1994 in Princeton.

When I saw him for the first time in the Class Room, I was a bit surprised. How could this sort of a human being who is typical of his Eastern reigns, be our "Stress Management" Professor? His stiff face seemed incapable of generating any smile! Lines appeared on his forehead, even before he was making efforts to start his career in our College...

You may have experienced a cycle of discomfort that caused you to crack a smile in public and pipe your eyes in private which downcasted into the core of cockles of your heart and called into being a seething cauldron of hurt and heart-break that your soul with feeling at cross purposes that left your soul with feeling at cross purposes that move swiftly in undulations; the truth is they are mirage in their entirety. Pull yourself together and draw a blank on the storm you weathered...

"Smile. Your smile lights up a room." It was more than 20 years ago and I had been going through a difficult time. The stress was starting to show on my face. One of my mentors took me aside and she said: " Smile, your smile could charm a ratbat!"

The need to learn how to manage stress is becoming more important due to the fast pace and increasing responsibilities in our daily lives. Both home and work seem to be placing additional demands upon us that do NOT come with any additional time with which to meet them. The result quite understandably is that many are left feeling overwhelmed and in need developing ways to relieve stress as a result of these mounting pressures.

One of the best way to control stress before it...

In your heart of hearts do you know that your clutter, both physical and mental, is bringing you down from the person that you know that you can be?  Do you see your passion for life being washed down the drain with the dishwater?  Do you know that you really DO deserve more than what you have right now, and I'm not just talking about "stuff'".  I'm talking about the way that you are living your life.  Do you know that you are not supposed to be this...
