Knowing how to manage you time is the key to your productivity and to attaining maximum success in your ventures. The thing you have to remember is that your time, like your life, is numbered or in other words, limited. Your day can only offer you twenty-four hours and sixty minutes for each hours. No matter how long the list of things you have to do, whether by choice or by chance, you can not add more time to the equation. Everyone, and no one is spared, is chained to the clock....

The return on investment and cost of time management systems is not a topic many time management authors discuss. They happily discuss making lists, setting up software and gizmos and other methods of “saving” time and increasing productivity.
The truth of the matter is that any time management system including the ones I have developed cost time to implement. Like any other investment and make no mistake about it time is invested, time management...

Efficiency = Skills + Discipline + Reliable Technology. This is what I call my work from home formula. My toolkit. My mantra. Discipline While it may be true that freelance work or working from home gives you more freedom than when confined in an office with people monitoring your activities all the time, it should be noted that this kind of freedom should still be coupled with discipline --- twice the discipline that you once had when you were still reporting to an...

I worked with a client a few weeks ago and we set up a filing system in her home office. Then we organized every other room in her home. She called me to say she felt free because of all the organizing we had done. She could now find everything and by putting things away where they belonged she didn't have to donate large chunks of time to find things she needed. She carried it one step further by organizing her electronic mail. Technology organizing is something we often...

While higher authorities in any office are the decision makers, and the top brass, it is the employees lower down the rungs that actually do the company's hard work. It is the employees who file paperwork, photocopy thousands of pages when required and sometimes have to do a large amount of mundane work. Needless to say, the happiness of these employees ensures the successful running of the company.
It is a well-known fact that a nine to five job can and does stress people...

In today's fast paced society there are more distractions than there ever have been. A liberal free society gives us prosperity but along with that comes consumerism, media and so many choices young minds are inundated with information, decisions and distractions by the bucket load. This has led to a generation of young people trying to learn more than any other generation ever has without any formal time management skills when they need them more than any other generation in history....

All leaders know that capturing their day in the most productive way is the only way they will reach their goals. The are extremely focused, and have a strategy to their madness. We have had the privilege of learning from the best in the industry like, Gregg Davison, Andrew Cass, and Michael Force. All three of those guys have opening shared how they capture their day. Andrew Cass has recently shared some of his EXTREME tips, and to me they don't seem as extreme as they seem necessary....

We all have complained at one time or another on how their just isn't enough time in the day to get all of the things done that we need to. The times when you're most creative are not necessarily when you sit down and brainstorm ideas. The best ideas often come when you least expect them. You might be driving your car, at your workplace, mowing the lawn, or doing grocery shopping. If you're not carrying an idea book or voice recorder to record those ideas, you may be missing out on valuable ideas. And you may have to work longer and harder to brainstorm ideas.
You may convince yourself...
