I am in fact waiting on something that I already have, these good qualities I already have in abundance are the very qualities I' waiting for or procrastinating on and I am involved in a contradiction of my own making. The positive side to this is your trying to earn a pass when you already have a free pass. I already have a ticket to ride and I spend all my time waiting on line for a ticket. I might be working so hard for something when I already have a free pass.

What I...

For many today, retirement is a "roleless" role. This is true in large part because the traditional notion of retirement fits with a worn out notion of aging that conceives of it primarily in terms of disengagement and decline. The news reports that "old" is being redefined as more of us are living to be over 100. The Department of Labor reports that in 2006 over 6% of Americans over 75 work. So, today we ask, how appropriate is retirement for a vital person with...

The coast is clear, the seas are calm, the sailing is breezy, and you are ready to move into new territory. The serenade is waiting for you.

What are the keys to your kingdom? If you have misplaced the keys, misjudged the day, there are still opportunities at bay and in those latter days. Every light from here can be green. You could captivate and capture the affections of more than one audience. You might find that new unique blend as you reassemble on the new territories....

An example of how we mix up more or less territory is by association. For the last 2 years I am afraid to go on a date. The reason is I have 2 dollars in my pocket on average. All of the sudden my pockets are lined with lots of money due to a change in fortune as per my finances. But I am still afraid to go on a date. What happened is that I mixed these fears together at the first juncture or one scene, and I didn’t separate them later. Actually, I was never afraid of dating or...

Why is the present so alien and distance from us, like the Martian landscape, the rings of Saturn, Jupiter’s moons, and the outer reaches of the Milky Way? So distant is today that those ...

Dream Interpretation

Dreamsare real life….

Every time when wedreamof images, people who are close to us or strangers at time, building, etc. that puzzle and amaze us. Ever wonder why we dream. It is no accident that one third of our lives spend in sleep and that much of this indreamssleep. This is a major part of our lives and it is clear that sleep is not just about giving body much needed time to relax, rest but about providing us with the opportunity...

It’s important to be able to gauge yourself and your development as you make choices down the road. The first question is what do you need to gauge.

If we are hiking, we might need to gauge the terrain, the changing weather conditions, the relative distance to the available time we have, the daylight conditions. We might need to gauge our direction with a compass.

In our job, we might want to gauge and possibly calibrate how well we are doing with the work,...

Ironically, perfection might be a flawed concept for you and me. It might be the last thing standing between you and what you want.

The pursuit of perfection probably results in more cancellations than anything else. It’s a good excuse not to because if perfection isn’t there, then I’m excused for looking into it further or gathering any further evidence.

There is a lack of recognition as to what is perfect. I am seeking perfection but I couldn’t...

There is no way we can see the fullest ramifications of a decision into the far future. For example, someone has six children. they could have no grandchildren or maybe 30.

How can we solve the problem or at least close the gap? The idea of closing the gap has some validity in any number of areas we are delving into. . I was running on the Long Beach boardwalk and I thought maybe I could catch the runner ahead of me before the end of the boardwalk a couple of miles but I realized...

The two most important critical thinking skills are not keen observation nor logic. These help, but both of these come pretty naturally in humans (though we often choose to ignore logic). The skills I am referring to are less common, at least in their fully developed forms. That's sad, considering that they lead to more powerful thinking just about anything else.

What are these critical thinking skills? They are habitual placing of truth above any other considerations, and the...
